Chapman’s Construction was proud to partner with Paddling for Pennies and 94.7 QDR to provide a new roof for Vietnam veteran Bobbie Jones. This Raleigh roofing project was part of our Roof for a Hero effort, created to give back to local veterans and families in our North Carolina community. Project: A New Roof for Sergeant Jones

Date Complete: April 2026

Location: Raleigh, NC

Chapman’s Construction completed this full roof replacement on Sgt. Jones’s two-story Raleigh home in less than two days. The project included removal of the existing roof, partial replacement of damaged OSB decking, installation of synthetic underlayment, ice and water barrier, drip edge, and a new roofing system. The photos below show the completed work and the care our crew put into this special Raleigh roofing project.
